Our Guidelines

To Create Fairness market place for the Good of all Members

Our goal at Keggas and all its  divisions is to create a marketplace where both the buyer/seller can conduct their business with great confidence and trust in one another. Keggas welcomes all like-minded entities that will help in upholding this virtue of honesty in working with each other. In our quest for fairness, we have put in place certain guidelines as a starting point as we seek to improve this marketplace we call Keggas. We have put in place blog posts where all members can read these posts at no cost. Members can ask sellers questions relating to the product, ask questions, make suggestions, and express their concerns by using our sales contact page.

Keggas Processes / Procedures
(1) Membership is open to everyone worldwide who is 21 and above irrespective of their ethnicity or country of origin. During registration, members are required to have a valid credit card on file to participate in the auction. Only listing fees and buyer fees are charged to the card on file. Payments for items won at the auction have to be made to the seller. Always be sure you understand the seller's payment options and fees. Ask the seller your questions and wait for his or her answer before you bid.

Listing your products
(2) We have included how to list video in the Learning Center session on this site. Listing your product is in itself the most important part of selling in these online auctions. We require that members take a good photo/video (see how to take good photosof the products they intend to list. Pictures/video must be clear to avoid listing from being taken down (at the owner's expense). All known defective areas on and in a product must be noted and highlighted. Defective areas may include but are not limited to things such as faded paint, cracks, tear, dents, leaks, rust, etc. Members must give detailed descriptions of their products, and provide any document to support their claims. Members are required to post a minimum of 30 photos and a maximum of 80 photos with each listing. Provisions have been made where both the buyer / the seller is rated, please use this resource if possible after every closed transaction. Keggas charges $9.95 US dollars to the seller to list each item and charges 6.5% of the purchase price to the buyer.

Buying and Biding
(3) Before buying or bidding on any item, make sure you understand conditions the seller has put in place, you can always ask questions via this website and always wait to get answers before you commence with the purchase or bid. Look for a seller who accepts safer payment methods like credit cards, a secure online payment system, or an escrow service recommended by the auction site. Don’t do business with anyone who takes only wire transfers, cash, money orders, or reloadable cards that you “top up” by adding money. Paying with those methods is like sending cash; once it’s gone, you won’t be able to get it back.
It’s important to check the seller’s rating on the site and read previous buyers’ comments. See if buyers, especially recent buyers, were satisfied with the seller, his or her merchandise, and his or her customer service. If you aren’t comfortable with the seller for any reason, trust your gut and don’t bid on her items.

Paying for your purchase
(4) We highly recommend that you make your payment using escrow service though there are fees for this service you will rest assured no one is taking you for a ride. There are some fake escrow service providers on the internet, you do not want to fall into their traps. Be sure to use those that you know you can trust. We recommend Escrow.com.  Should you use them, please give us your feedback and what you rated them. Use our contact us form.

Help avoid online scams
(5) Communicate through the auction and payment site. Don’t deal with anyone who wants you to pay outside the payment system you are comfortable with— whether with a wire transfer, money order, or another cash equivalent — no matter what story they tell you. If you do, you’ll lose any protection the payment institution provides. You also probably won’t get the item or see your money again. Here’s how a con might start:
A scammer asks you to email him outside the site. He offers you a “second chance” to buy an item you didn’t get at auction, claiming the “highest bidder backed out,” or says he’ll give you a great price on a similar item. The hitch: he wants to close the deal privately, off the auction site, and tells you to pay with a wire transfer, money order, or another cash equivalent.
You place the highest bid, but after the auction ends the seller pleads with you to pay her outside the auction’s payment system. She claims the online system isn’t working for her or she needs money quickly for an emergency. That’s a danger sign. If you pay outside the secure online system, you’ll end up losing money and won’t get the item you wanted to buy.

Important Note
(6) As already stated on the introduction page, it is very important that both buyers and sellers alike understand the buying and selling process under which this auction operates. Do some research on the particular product you are most interested in. Ask questions, if need be, request for copies of deeds, titles, original registration papers, proof of ownership or certificate of authenticity, or an invoice before bidding on the product. Keggas does not sell Products directly and is never a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. Information about products is provided by the seller or a third-party vendor. The price and terms of each sale are determined by the buyer and seller. As such, Keggas does not guarantee or ensure the description or condition of any product or any transaction between a buyer and seller. Keggas do not collect or process payment or transfer of title or deeds on behalf of buyers or sellers, or store, ship or deliver any products of any kind. As for payments, it is best to pay using a well-established and trusted escrow service. Most of all, don't forget to sign a written contract before transactions are made final. Finally, be sure to check what import or export taxes apply to countries you intend to do business with.
